Our success as an organization is due in part to the countless hours and amazing effort of our volunteer base. Book Center Support

Book Center volunteer shifts typically include assisting our literacy team with book processing, inventory, cleaning and organizing and helping us prepare for our literacy programs in the community.  

 

Little Free Library Book Delivery

Volunteers can get books out into the community by helping us stock and maintain our network of Little Free Libraries throughout the Madison area.  We offer this opportunity monthly and will require volunteers to pick up books at our book center and deliver them to a designated location.

Event and Fundraising Support

If you have an interest in supporting our development team with our annual fundraising events, or joining us out in the community to bring awareness to the MRP mission?  These opportunities can involve administrative tasks as well as day of event support. 

 

Literacy Program Support

We have a limited number of volunteer positions open each year for individuals that support our literacy programs in the community.  Volunteers must have experience working with children and are required to complete background and reference checks, as well as orientation and training.
